I fix what's broken, build when off the shelf doesn't fit, and automate the parts nobody wants to do by hand, for small businesses who'd rather have one person who picks up the phone than a ticket number. Twenty-five years in IT, the last fourteen freelance. I still think the coolest interfaces peaked around 1986, which is either a personality flaw or a design philosophy, depending on the day.
